I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Deel (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2024
Interview
I had a video call for the first-round interview that lasted about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, I felt that the HR was not very respectful during the session. She arrived a few minutes late, and at one point, she suddenly turned off her screen without offering any explanation afterward. The interview felt rushed, with the HR speaking very quickly, and the session ended within half an hour.

What do you know about Deel?
What are your salary expectations?
Do you have any questions for us so far?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Deel (Hongkong) in Jul 2026
Interview
The company reached out to me on LinkedIn and booked me in for an interview. I told them in advance I wasn't considering any junior roles given my experience. The day of the interview the interviewer didn't show up and no explanation was received. The next day another recruiter reached out through LinkedIn letting me know that the role scope has changed. Super unprofessional and disrespectful.
