Terrible candidate experience. If you interview for a role, you expect a response reaching out to multiple stakeholders within Deel. It's clear that the internal mantra is to ghost candidates who take the time to prepare for multiple interview internally. Every stakeholder ignored my attempt to get an update on the final decision of my process.
Although I sincerely appreciate your feedback, I am not pleased to hear that your experience was negative. It is the job if the Recruiter to provide you with timely and relevant feedback. We will take a closer look at what happened here to avoid this occurring with other candidates.

A headhunter contacted me and was very impatient and technical during the call. Didn't seem to listen to my answers, and explicitly asked me not to give long answers after I told her about a previous work project for maybe 1-2 minutes. At the end of the interview she asked me what I currently make (not my salary expectations), and as I asked not to disclose it as it shouldn't influence the recruiting process with Deel - refused to continue the process unless I tell her how much I make. Overall was a very unpleasant conversation that gave a bad impression of the company's processes.

The process itself is easy. The recruiter was kind and approachable. The chat simulation is fast paced and done in Google meet. One of the leaders shows that she's uninterested.
