Interview
The interviewer didn’t even review my CV beforehand. They didn’t make an effort to understand my background and asked questions that are typically saved for the end of an interview. For such a large and professional company, I was honestly surprised. Also, the interviewer seemed annoyed — I don’t understand why they invite people to interviews if they’re going to act that way.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Deel in Apr 2025
Interview
I decided not to proceed with the Full‑Stack role, as it didn’t align with my expectations. Highly focused on back-end and relational databases.
Stage 1 (HR screening): The recruiter covered the company, the position, my background and my goals. He focused heavily on relational databases and emphasized the company’s rapid growth—then asked if I’d be willing to work overtime when needed.
Next step: They sent me a take‑home assessment on handling database concurrency. Also handed me a guide for the proccess which was labeled as a Back-end role.
