Walk me through a deal you lost and what could have been done better.

Interview
We had a initial screening call and after that a challenge was sent. The challenge in itself was interesting enough. The second step was a live code review session which was the low point of the process.
Two very young interviewers joined the call, they behaved very unprofessionally, talking to each other as if I wasn't present. They were laughing and talking in spanish.
Lots of questions were made about the code, the whole interview process made me very stressed with the situation. In the middle of it, I was already sure I didn't want to join them. They didn't care to ask if I understand core concepts, they were just scrutinizing the code and pointing the mistakes.

The challenge requirements were all over the place, they've sent a small project along with a database migration. The idea was to handle concurrent transactions for financial transactions.
