I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Deloitte (New Southgate, England) in Feb 2021
Interview
HR experience:
I received an email from HR to provide available days, I gave them 4 days and then I had to wait for two weeks until they came back to say they could not confirm as the interviewer was not available.
I called twice HR to arrange new dates and the third time I called I left a voice message and also send an email. However, I was never called back. Neither call nor an email. Three days after my call, I sent them another email where the HR person told me that I could have my interview the next day which was impossible for me to give that short notice to my work. I explained that and then he said that he would check and come back to me. Guess? He came back 3 weeks after! Also, I asked him to know more about the process and he cc 2 people on the email to explain the process to me and none come back for around ten days, even if I had sent them 3-4 emails. Horrible HR experience and very unprofessional attitude with lots of delays and bad manners.
Interviewer experience:
The next surprise was my interviewer!
I checked on him on social media and found him with naked people. Then I went to the interview and the guy could not remember the questions to ask me, he used slang language all the time and felt like he was under drugs!
A week after I received an email from HR that didn’t pass without any reason. I was curious to know the feedback even if I felt it would not be productive from a person like that. I thought if deloitte can hire these people without proper checks then this is not the right place for me.
It’s so true that the recruitment process is a two-way approach! I would never apply to this company again.
PS I have offers from two consulting companies bigger than Deloitte which most importantly reflect the values and culture I want to follow.

A Straightforward process that enjoyed. Call with recruiter and three interviews. the recruiter has basic questions about background and salary requirements. The interview was virtual. I feel it was well organized as well.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (London, England) in Feb 2021
Interview
Very poorly organised by HR and the recruitment team. I had a flurry of emails from several people. I applied for a Manager role but the invite I got was for a Consultant role. I called HR to check that this was right and discussed by salary expectations as I didn't want to waste time applying for a role I had no interest in. I was told that I should ignore the job title as this was the role they had open but not necessarily the role I'd be applying for. It turns out this wasn't correct and as described by the partner they'd struggle matching my expected salary within the role.
The interview itself was easy and went well. A case study where you had to present to a senior manager in a role play exercise and then a chat with a partner.
It took over 3 weeks for HR to get back to me after several chase email that were ignored and as expected the salary fell well short of expected. Unfortunately HR wasted over a month of my time.
