The process took 1 day. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Hyderabad)
Interview
First technical discussion, where the techincal panel is holding off 10 years experience, but where they don't have common sense to handle people who came for interview. They make interview candidate down by their activitives. They need for training how to treat candidate in interview. Hr people are very nice and polite. But the candidate who are taking techincal interviews are very bad behavior. It's very good if you people are keeping 10 years experienced candidate in panel, but please make sure that the panel is having good way of communication and patience to handle the people in smooth. Make candidate feel comfortable. might be epam will pay more but if this continues, company loose the repetition in the market. Hope these will be taking care
As usual, a first interview with someone from HR. But the person didn't even read my resume. When she finally understood I had a couple of years off, she wouldn't even care about my skills and would keep focusing on that.
She also pretended that 12k gross monthly is for their senior developer in Poland...
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Budapest)
Interview
The interview had three part, first part was an online test, with 20 programming puzzle (it gives easier or harder tasks depending on your solutions).
The second part was a very short personal interview with the recruiter.
Last part was the technical interview, where you got a programming problem and you have to solve it. The manager did not ask any programming or java related question (quite surprise). If you can solve the task you could be interesting for the manager, if not, you can go.
A lof of important aspects and details turned out in the third part of the complete process related to the Mentoring program, which was quite surprising for me.
Overall, it was an unpleasant mood and it was disappointing for me.
