I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Hyderabad) in Sep 2018
Interview
The company approached me on LinkedIn for Java/Node.js opportunity. I got a call soon after I shared my resume, and a face to face interview was scheduled.
I reached ahead of the interview time and happened to wait for 30 mins for it to start. Next, I had a f2f technical round and introductions happened. Also, he said the person who takes your interview was on leave and he was a substitute.
To clear my ambiguity, I confirmed for which role am I been interviewed. Answer - No specific, but we are looking for experience candidate in core java
I was made aware of the interview process, will be given an intro about the company and round might last for 60 minutes. First, the discussion started with my experience and the challenges I encountered, few extended questions on what I said. Second, questions on Java (collections)Hashmaps, JUnit. Finally, there was a hands-on coding problem, you can solve on a whiteboard or a paper. I solved it on paper correctly.
The last, Q&A
I asked about the company because I was not told as said at the start of the round. Few more questions I asked. In last, I was informed that it might take a week to get the result of the interview.
The interview was focused on how Java collection APIs work instead of algo & ds problem-solving.
Interview process could be professional by bridging the communication effectively

Question 1

Process was perfect, Two rounds were there one is Level one round and second one being global round. But unfortunate thing is the level of interview has nothing to do with actual work

I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Chandigarh) in Aug 2018
Interview
Firstly epam conducted online coding round and i got 80 out of 100 and was called for 2nd round.2nd round was again a live coding round and out of 300 students 30 were selected and called for group discussion(which by the way is no elimination round). Then next we were called for technical round. There were 4 different rooms with 4 different interviewers(with different experiences and mindset).i was sent to the senior most interviewer and he asked me questions from my resume(don't fake anything in resume). He asked me questions about java but he was not ready to accept my answers and was a bit rude while on the other hand other interviewers asked very basic questions(which was somewhat partial) and i was not selected after technical even though the interviewer asked me to wait for HR round but i was later informed that you are not selected.I was expecting a positive result because the students who knew nothing were selected for the next round due to variety of interviewers.
