The selection process involved a total of 5 Rounds(Coding+Coding+GD+Technical+HR). The first round was Online Coding Challenge which consisted of 3 Questions. I scored 100/100 in 1 Hr 6 Min 14 Sec /2 Hr 30 Min in the first round and then they called me up for 2nd Round which took place at DY Patil College, Akurdi, Pune. I reached at the venue before hand and the EPAM team came an hour late ;) They briefed us about their company putting stress on Coding and Passion for Engineering. They made sure that everybody understood how important coding was for them although it was already evident from the process itself when they had setup two round of coding challenge. The 2nd round consisted of 3 questions in which the 1st question had 11 MCQ of 20 marks related to Java, Database, Programming Skills and OOPs. The 2nd and 3rd were Java based coding questions. I scored 87/100 in this round although cutoff was 40/100. I scored 80/80 in the two coding questions in a record time of 54Min 37Sec/1hr 40Min and scored 7/20 in MCQ in 20Min/20Min. The 3rd round was Group Discussion, the topic for this round was Innovation vs Invention. Which is important? I was in a group of 10 student and only 4 students were selected for the next Technical Interview Round unfortunately I wasn't selected. I thought this company focused a bit more on Programming Skills (which they already had stressed on) than Communication but they didn't had anything to do with how a candidate performed in the previous coding rounds. Anyways its an on going process and overall I had a great experience.
