EY Audit Associate I interview questions

My first interview was with two experienced audit associates/seniors and included a case. It was a relatively easy interview, mainly focused on demonstrating interest in the role and explaining my motivation. The second interview was with the Group Leader, during which we reviewed my résumé in depth and I was asked technical questions about auditing. I have not received any further communication from them in over six weeks. And if you ask me, it’s quite unprofessional not to follow up with candidates who have invested their time preparing, worrying, and genuinely showing interest in the position.

The interview process was smooth and straightforward. I had a Microsoft Teams interview with a Senior Manager who asked about my background, previous audit experience, and understanding of audit procedures. The conversation felt professional and friendly. I was also asked about my notice period and availability to join. After the interview, HR contacted me quickly with positive feedback and next steps.
