An application form online, CV and cover letter. Followed by a telephone interview and if successful through to a face to face interview. Interview is as expected, nothing too difficult.

Interview
Telephone Interview:
Fairly quick and informal, asking about previous roles and if I have had a sales role previously.
Face-to-face Recruiter interview:
At regional offices in Redditch. Formulaic and stunted interview process that relies on competency questions which is ironic as the position is sales based which is about making a connection and engaging with each other.

Question 1
There are top, middle and bottom performers. Tell me about a time you helped to raise a bottom performer?
Discussed working hours and how they were unsociable (especially given my proximity to an airport being in Solihull) , and whether they were acceptable? Who would say no at this point!

Short telephone interview
Face to face interview - the woman recruiting made it sound like you would have to work unbelievably long hours including weekends and tasks included things like cleaning cars, very little actual management experience involved. It felt as if she was trying to put me off right from the beginning. After the interview she said she would let me know soon and I have never heard back from her, very unprofessional.
