I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Enterprise Mobility (Fredericton, NB) in Mar 2021
Interview
My initial interview was a phone screening and then a video conference call with two individuals - one primary interviewer and a background viewer. They asked in-depth questions about how I've demonstrated leadership, managed conflict, where I envision myself, etc.
The interview was ok (didn't perform as well as I would've hoped) but I was a bit shocked to find out that the interviewee did not know how much the pay is for the position - the background interviewer claimed it was in the job description when it, in fact, it was not. I also inquired about their policies on tattoos and piercings, as I am a professional who can visibly hide tattoos under my blazer (as they saw throughout the interview) but wanted to ensure this would not be an issue in the future. The second interviewer rudely came in once again, stating the job description asks applicants to have no visible tattoos and/or piercings. Once again, this was NOT in the job description.
I don't believe I would've gotten the job either way, but it's disheartening when you come across an organization that preaches inclusivity but fails to implement it in a simple interview process. I think it's fair to say this organization is waving red flags for toxic corporate culture.
