I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Feb 2025
Interview
The interview process was long. There were multiple steps. After I applied, I got invited to an info session / webinar where I got an overview of the company and the role. Then, I was asked to take some tests. There was a personality test, an IQ-type test, a math test, and a coding test. This took roughly 4 hours. After this stage, I was given a final interview, which comprised of 2 more hours of info sessions, followed by a case study that I had to solve in a group. I then had to prepare a 10 minute presentation that I gave to a panel of judges. At the end of this, there was a 30 minute interview. The whole thing took roughly 3.5 hours. I actually really appreciate the holistic approach that Epic is taking to get to know their candidates, but I would say don't apply unless you REALLY see this as something that you want to do.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
You are on a team of 5 people (including yourself), and you are the team leader. You have a very strong opinion on how to do the next course of action, but the rest of the team disagrees and wants to take another course of action. What do you do?

Interview
The interview process was in total a 4 hour process online. An hour of it was just a presentation with a group, where one person working there described Epic, what they do, the environment, etc. Then there was an hour where you were put with another TS engineer who you could ask questions for about an hour, and then you had the actual interview, which was all situational. My advice would be to express good time management as well as transparency with clients and coworkers, and you should be fine.

Question 1
They asked you a lot about situational things, like there are three clients that you work for, x y and z happened, what would you do? And there were a lot of situations like "A client told you that a coworker was being very disrespectful to them, what would you do?"

Interview
The main team who I would be working with joined the call including the owners and the art director. We quickly went over some of my previous and discussed the position. The interview was short and to the point and I quickly received a follow up email discussing their decision to move forward.
