I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Dec 2014
Interview
I took the 4-subject online test and personality test first. Three sections were not too difficult, but the logic section killed me. This test was quickly followed with a phone interview. This was also not too difficult. I then had the on-site interview in Verona. The on-site featured my talking to and interviewing with multiple employees, some of whom were project managers, some of whom were HR. The presentation was before 3 employees and was a little nerve-wracking for me. Other than that, the day was pretty enjoyable overall and I did not feel too pressured.
I applied through college or university. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Epic in Mar 2015
Interview
I originally applied of October, and went through all the typical processes starting with the initial resume drop, filled out the form online, and then was invited to take the computer testing that everyone talks about. About a week and a half after, I was notified that I was no longer being considered for the position.
Fast forward about four and a half months, and I get an email inviting me to "reconnect with Epic" and inviting me to continue my interview again. A week later- I was onsite for a full day interview both interviewing for Project Manager and Quality Assurance. I had a wonderful time talking to people, and they really make you feel comfortable. It was my understanding that if you make it to the onsite interview- they're quite interested. Don't feel uncomfortable or intimidated with the group interview-aspect, because there are plenty of roles to fill; you're not competing! Also- for PM/IS- make sure you present on something you're 1- knowledgeable about, 2- passionate about, and 3-able to field questions. Some topics on my day include Irish Dance and Wine Tasting.
Less than a week later (interviewed on a Friday and got the call on Wednesday), I was offered a PM/IS job.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Q: What type of leadership role do you take on in a team?
I submitted an application through the resume and was emailed to set up a phone interview. The phone interview was about 25 minutes and very casual. They asked why I wanted the job and about experiences on my resume that would help me in the job. There was a skills assessment that took around 2 hours and a personality profile to complete. The skills assessment was pretty difficult.
