I applied online. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Jun 2023
Interview
There was initially a 3 hour asynchronous online test, then a full day of behavioral and case interviews. On full interview day, I was also asked to prep a presentation that was 10 minutes long in advance on any topic
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you prioritize certain escalation on a project
The interview process at Epic was organized but ultimately disappointing. Despite having advanced certifications and years of relevant experience, I learned they offer the same $70K salary to every project manager—regardless of background. No room for negotiation, no consideration for expertise or added value. It feels less like a competitive opportunity and more like a take-it-or-leave-it deal.
If you’re early in your career, it might be a stepping stone. But if you bring experience to the table, be prepared to feel undervalued.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Jul 2025
Interview
Two hour long informational sessions, to learn more about the company and role. A case study with a partner, your 10 minute presentation, and finally an interview with the recruiter. This takes about 3-4 hours.
