I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Epic in Mar 2026
Interview
I was honestly very lowkey. Don't stress about it. I would make sure to ask questions, be engaged during your group interview.
One of my biggest concerns was the lack of visibility into team placement. During both the final interview process and conversations with current employees, I consistently heard that experiences at Epic can vary greatly depending on the team and product area. Despite asking multiple times, I was never able to get clarity on where I might be placed or who I would potentially work with. While Epic clearly felt I was a strong fit for the company, I did not feel I was given enough information to determine whether the role would be the right fit for me. I also would have appreciated the opportunity to speak directly with someone on a prospective team to better understand the working dynamic and day-to-day expectations.
Technical Testing followed by an information session on the job responsibilities. Study and prepare for the technical test and they make you download a testing security software. The information session was about 30 minutes just covering basic responsibilities

Interview
1- Submit application
2- Role introduction, assessment, personality test
Assessment was about 3 hours long with 6 different parts that covered math, English comprehension, word problems, and logic. It was basically an IQ test. Also the personality was pretty easy with a little math sprinkled in,
If you pass that, you move to the final interview, about 3 hours along divided into 4 parts. The first 2 parts are introductions to the role and software. The 3rd part is a 10-minute presentation on a topic of your choice, with about 5 minutes of questions. 4th part is a 30-minute meeting with HR, going over your resume and asking HR questions.
