I applied online and was contacted a few days later to set up a phone interview, and take the skills assessment and Rembrandt Profile.
The Assessment is a lot like the SAT/GRE. There are four sections- math, critical reading, programming/learning a new language, and a timed portion with 10 questions. You don't necessarily need to study for it. But if you are one of those people who feel like they have to prepare for something then go ahead and do a practice SAT or GRE test. Or you can just look through all the reviews on here and you'll get a good idea. I had the phone interview after taking the assessment.
The phone interview was good, it was pretty casual. The phone interview was by a current PM and he basically introduced epic and what a PM does at EPIC and then a few housekeeping type stuff. overall it was good.
I am still waiting to hear back from them after the phone interview. It takes about a week to 2 weeks between each thing, like it took a week to set up the phone interview and they said they will get back to me in a week or 2.
