Overall, Epic is a great company to work with. I was encouraged to apply by a friend in the healthcare IT space, and I am looking forward to a long-term career with Epic. Throughout the application/interview process, I interacted with 12+ Epic employees directly. Everyone is very nice, and the cab driver (Jim) even offered his advice upon arrival at Epic: "They must really like you to bring you this far. You are the best and the brightest. Be confident, and be yourself."
Obviously, Jim spends many mornings and afternoons ferrying Epic applicants to and from the company's 600+ acre campus, but his advice rings true. To those currently in the application process, just be yourself. Be confident, but not arrogant or presumptuous. Epic is looking for genuine, hard working people who want to be a part of something far bigger than themselves. Best of luck!
