I heard back in about a week or two about after I applied about a phone screen. The phone screen left me a little clueless because I was only really asked one question. They based the second round interview off of that phone call and I was not selected. I think that th ekey is to keep your answers short.
I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Epic (Ontario, CA) in Feb 2020
Interview
Very quick, perhaps 30 minutes of interview time. Spoke to a project manager, so they gave helpful insight into what the job is like. Additionally, very quick turn around time for the whole process.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Feb 2020
Interview
I started by applying online, and this was followed by an invitation to interview over the phone a few days later. The phone interview was with a person who is a current Project Manager, asking some general questions about your background and goals to see if they align with the culture and requirements of the job.
Around the same time was a Skills Assessment, where I had to do some logic tests; give yourself plenty of time in a quiet room to do this assessment (about 2 hours) so you can get set-up and have enough time to work.
The last step is the on-site interview, a full day of presentations, case studies, interviews, and a tour. They will fly you out and put you in a hotel where you'll taxi with other candidates to the Epic campus. You get the opportunity to meet and ask questions with several current employees, some of whom are project manages and others are not. During the case study, you'll be working with others to evaluate a situation and present your solutions to a current Project Manager. Near the end of the day you'll have a one-on-one interview with someone from HR to do a deeper dive into your resume, background, and interests in the position. About 2 business days after the interview I got a call with my offer.
