I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Epic in Feb 2022
Interview
I only did the phone screening and the online technical screening. The phone screening was straight forward. I talked with a current software engineer about my past projects and experiences. The technical screening was long and required that my camera was on the whole time.

Question 1
Would you be willing to move to Madison for the position?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic in Mar 2022
Interview
I had a phone interview with a fellow developer who had been with the company for about four years. It was a laid-back interview and it lasted about 30 minutes.
I was invited to complete a technical assessment before I had even done my phone interview. I was given four hours to complete the assessment. There are four parts: rapid question (you have two minutes to answer as many questions as possible), general logic/algebra/problem-solving questions, questions about an invented programming language, and an algorithms section. The algorithms section contained four problems which were about medium/hard level in difficulty.
The technical assessment is recorded and proctored by a third-party site, which kept disconnecting and saying that I had navigated to another tab (ie cheated) even though I had not. It did so about 10+ times during my test, which was disruptive and made the experience more stressful than it needed to be.
