I applied through college or university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Oct 2018
Interview
Quick 30 minute phone call (nothing technical). Then the long exam over webcam. Problems weren't super difficult, but definitely be familiar with DP and do some practice problems on LeetCode.
3 weeks later got the on-site. This was very well run - they do all the travel planning for you, put you in a nice hotel, will even let you stay an extra night. Dinner the night before with an Epic employee. Interview hardly felt like an interview, half of it was them sharing about their software and giving you the opportunity to ask questions. Then 45 min case study (don't think they're looking for anything specific here, just given a basic problem can you come up with a way to represent that). 45 minute meeting with another developer where you just talk about a project the entire time. Then 30 minute meeting with HR who asks very standard questions. Was a very pleasant experience, they clearly care about the work they do and everyone I talked to was very enthusiastic about the company.

Question 1
What's one thing that stood out to you during your on-site
Spoke with a recruiter at my college's job fair. Within a few weeks had a 30 minute phone call with a developer to talk about my technical experience. After a week or so I was given an online coding challenge and logic quiz. Was then flown out for a final round which included more technical discussion.

Question 1
Tell me about a technical problem you faced during a project, and how did you solve it.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Oct 2018
Interview
I applied to Epic in mid to late September 2018 for a software development position. Typically Epic then follows up with a phone call with the relevant position as well as a skills test. I had already completed both of these when interviewing for an intern position earlier this year (I was not accepted into that program). Within three days Epic reached out for an onsite interview. The interview in early October included a software overview, case study, project presentation, and hr behavioral sessions. I received my offer less than a week later.
When Epic mentions casual dress code, they truly mean casual. Do not show up in a suit unless that is the only way you are comfortable interviewing.
