The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Epic in Jun 2010
Interview
I received an email from them asking to book a phone interview with optional dates given. After the simple HR phone interview, had an Aptitude test which was pretty simple for a Master's student. They asked me to allot an exam center in my vicinity (like a public library with approval from a Procter). I had to go there and give a detailed Programming and Aptitude test.

Interview
I got in touch with Epic thorough my university. After submitting my resume, I first had a phone interview with a current employee which was followed by a skills assessment test involving Verbal math and 5 moderately difficult programming questions (Pseudo-code will do). Then I was invited to an on-site interview, which let us explore the beautiful campus in Verona and meet with Epic employees from different departments.
