I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2017
Interview
Spoke with a recruiter at our college career fair. The person I talked to instructed me to apply online; which I did. I then received an email asking to schedule an over-the-phone interview. The phone interview was very basic. It lasted about 30min and I was asked about my previous projects, why I wanted to work at Epic, how much experience I had, and where I saw myself in text 5 years. After the phone interview, I scheduled an online technical skills test through proctorU. The technical interview was made of three parts and was long and tedious. Tthe first part consisted of a short math section and the second was learning a new language and then answering questions based off of this made up language. These were not bad and you cant really study for them. The last section was a coding section made up of four questions that you could answer in your language of choice. You couldn't compile and you couldn't use an API so it was super indicative of the actual coding you would be doing for them (not). The questions were medium difficulty. Just amek sure you understand string parsing and map manipulation.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
word search in an nxn grid in any orientation(including diagonals, left to right, bottom to top, etc), deciding if a number was colorful, most common character in a string switched with the least common character int eh string, raffle contest in which you had to take out duplicated entries.

Applied online, got an e-mail for a phone interview setup (behavorial + asking about your past projects). Some questions they ask about the project is: What can you improve in your project? What feature would you add? Those sorts of questions.
Then I took the technical test. The IQ logical part was not easy for me (2 minutes, 10 questions). The math portion shows you their coding language (unlimited time, 20 questions), which wasn't bad at all. The programming part was a monster(unlimited time, 4 questions).

First an easy half hour HR phone screen where a member of a software team asks you questions about your resume, interpersonal skills, standard HR screen that's pretty relaxed. Next round is a very long online test through ProctorU (someone watches you on webcam and monitors your screen while you take it), as well as a personality test. This step was very long (proctorU + personality took me about 4.5 hours), and was very thorough. Tests your coding ability as well as ability to think quickly and learn/absorb information. You cannot compile the code you write, or use references/documentation about your language online.
About a week and a half after this portion I was rejected.
