I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Minneapolis, MN) in Mar 2016
Interview
Phone Interview, Technical Interview.
I made it to the technical interview. Moderately difficult. Make sure you brush up on the basics in a language of your choice. It is a timed test but you can take as long as you want to finish it. Both accuracy and time are taken into account.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epic in Nov 2015
Interview
Had a short interview with someone in the department and then the coding test. The phone interview as a basic screening and the woman i talked to was agreeable. I then took the coding test which was pretty hard, it isn't a timed but it is better to finish earlier. I finished in like 3 hours with buggy code and that was the end of it for me.

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Jan 2016
Interview
I first applied through my school's career network. Got an initial call phone screen where the engineer asked me about my background and some of my projects. Then I got an online coding test where they used a third party proctor. The coding test is fairly simple, recursion and for loops. Then I got invited to their onsite in Madison, WI. During the onsite interview they ask you to tell them about a project you did, also they ask you a design question.
