I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Milwaukee, WI) in Jun 2014
Interview
i filled out the awful online application which was hard to navigate. They had come to my school to recruit and contacted me before that. I then waited back to hear and eventually got a phone call from a guys who did not seem like really enjoy being on the phone. I was directed to the test they make you take. I took it and you have to turn in all sorts of things. There was an online proctor. and then I got an additioanl phone call and interview. I then got an email and they said I did not pass.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Dec 2015
Interview
There was a technical exam, including logical programming questions that could be answered in the language of your choice. That was followed by a phone interview, and then an onsite interview with other candidates (there were 10 or so in my 'batch' of people being interviewed that day). There was an emphasis on friendly interactions with the other candidates, and the overall environment was very causal (jeans and a polo would not have been out of place)
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Nov 2015
Interview
Epic's hiring process primarily consists of three parts: (1) a nontechnical phone interview, in which you discuss previous development experience, education, motivation for pursuing a job at Epic; (2) an online skills assessment, which comprises a short technical assessment (learning a new programming language) and a 4-question programming assessment (which took my a little over 2 hours); and (3) an onsite visit in Verona, WI.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The online programming assessment covered many of the typical technical interview questions, including questions about data structures, string manipulation, dynamic programming, and recursion. The onsite interviews consisted of a 30 minute discussion of a previous project and a 1-on-1 software design interview, both with current software developers.
