I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Dec 2015
Interview
Phone interview and online aptitude test. The phone interview was basically a get to know you and an opportunity for the company to sell themselves. Online aptitude test was mostly logic-type questions with minimal coding questions (you don't have to know any coding/study at all to do well). Then the flew me out to Madison for a formal interview; spent half the day being shown around the campus and had an interview with a member of the team and an HR person. Overall really low stress and easy.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Dec 2015
Interview
The interview went in three phases: 1) phone interview 2) online exam 3) onsite interview. The online exam was definitely difficult, and had a part 2 that you did on campus if you got to the onsite interview! The phone interview was casual, just know why you wanna work there and kinda what you have an interest in! The company seems really cool, so that shouldn't be too challenging. The exam doesn't really have anything you can do to prepare for it, but just do your best! The onsite interview was AMAZING! That feels like a two way interview, you're interviewing them as well. They take you out to dinner the night before and then go on campus the next day. Feel free to dress casually. Their campus is really neat, indescribable.

Interview
I applied online, and was scheduled for a phone interview. They asked some basic questions and told me more about the company. I was then asked to take an online skills assessment. After that was finished, they contacted me and scheduled an in-person interview. They flew me to Madison and I spent the next day interviewing. I was shown around the campus and was given more details about what the job would entail. There was a technical interview with a member of Epic's technical services team and a more standard interview with HR.
