The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Epic in May 2010
Interview
generally standard. phone interview followed by onsite interview. good hotel lodging and air fare is included. on your interview date, you'll interview with 2 people. have lunch with your "group" and also have someone who tells you what the company is like, what the culture is like, etc
mainly questions about were fit and personality oriented. don't remember any technical questions on systems etc. they teach you all the programming you need to know later on after you're hired.
culture at epic is a bit hippy. they people are super nice, though i just didn't fit in well. the cold weather will get to you too after a while. seriously if you're from cali or the south, don't underestimate how 9 months of frozen arctic climate can drag on you.
assessment test can be a bit challenging. generally like an SAT, math/reasoning and verbal

Interview
Applied online through my college career center. Received an email back a few weeks later saying they wanted to do a phone interview. 30 minute phone interview talked about the company and the role. About two weeks later they emailed me saying they wanted to bring me onsite. Took a group of us out to dinner the night we got there and then had the interviews the next day.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in May 2011
Interview
After the online application followed a personality test, then a phone interview. After about three weeks I had a skill test sceduled at a library in town. It contained programming and math problems. I thought I did pretty good on it, but apparently not good enough. The next step would have been an onsite interview that I did not get.
