I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Aug 2010
Interview
The company contacted me after I had posted my resume on Monster.com - they seem to be really looking to expand right now.
My phone interview was great; I spent an hour on the phone with someone who actually works in the position I was interviewing for, instead of having an HR person ask you personality questions. It was more of an informational interview to give me a better idea of the company.
They flew me out to Madison within the next two weeks and put me in a fancy hotel. They took me to dinner the night I arrived, and the interviews started the next day. The campus is an awesome place, and the benefits are amazing. The job seemed pretty cool too - the thing that drew me was that it wasn't the same exact work every day.
The interview day consisted of a one-on-one information session about the position, a demonstration of their software, an interview with a manager in technical services in which they asked for a response to a case question, a typical HR interview (why do you want to work here, etc.), and some skills tests (software, math, verbal).

The question goes on to describe the three situations.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Sep 2010
Interview
My resume was found by an Epic Systems recruiter online. I was sent an email to apply for the Technical Services position. I submitted an application & after a few days, I was requested to complete an online personality test. After about a week & half I was scheduled for a Phone Interview. So far it went well, I was told the recruiter should reach out to me in about a week or two. If they decide to move on my application, the next step will be to schedule a skills assesment.

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Aug 2010
Interview
I was in Madison two weeks ago and am now waiting for a response. There were two exams and one scenario based interview. One exam was a timed two minute short answer test, while the other exam had five long programming questions. I did well on the short answers but not so well on the programming. There was also a demonstration about one of there software applicaitons.
