I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Feb 2013
Interview
Found position through LinkedIn, applied on careers site and took personality test. Got a phone interview where I spoke with one of the technical services staff about the position, etc. Got called for an on-site interview which included a tour of the place, followed by a math assessment, a logic assessment, a programming assessment, and a verbal reasoning assessment. While on-site, also interviewed with a HR rep.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Jan 2013
Interview
They first contacted me for a phone interview. After the initial phone interview, I had to schedule an online assessment that was to be taken at a specific site. Then I was invited out to an onsite interview where they gave a tour, ran some business cases, introduced us to their products, and then finally took a programming test.

Question 1
The questions on the programming test were difficult.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Nov 2012
Interview
You have to do a case study, which is really simple: you are asked to prioritize your time one morning if you come in and have 2 emails and a phone message. Which would you respond to first based on the importance and how would you respond? What if your customer's problem persisted? They want to hear you say you'd work with a team, get help if you need it, and then maintain a positive relationship with your customer, etc.

Question 1
There really weren't any unexpected questions. Most of the day is spent talking to people who have the position you are looking at and asking them about what they do.
