I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI)
Interview
Starts with a phone interview. Then you take a skills assessment that takes 1-2 hours. No prep is needed for the assessment. If you pass these you may be invited to interview at their campus. I had a great experience. It answered almost all of the questions I had coming in. The campus tour and multiple talks with current employees were very informative. Plus, it was fun! I felt comfortable and welcomed the whole time I was there. Most of the day is informational, but there are two interview specific portions. The case study puts you in a scenario that you may face as Epic and you describe how you would handle it. There is also a typical HR interview, but it feels very relaxed and conversational. You are allowed to dress casually for the day at epic, and they mean casual. Most people in my group were wearing jeans. Wearing my usual clothes really helped my confidence. I have not heard back yet on the position.
They reached out to me initially to take an online assessment. I then had a short 30 minute phone interview where the person mainly explained their experiences working at the company. I am now currently at the on-site interview.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Oct 2019
Interview
There is a phone interview, then you must complete an online profile and take a proctored exam. If they decide to move forward with you they will fly you out for an onsite job interview, then you must take a programming exam.
