First, a phone screening, mostly just an explanation of what the job actually is. Second, a remote skills test that was a mixture of the SAT, an IQ test, and a programming aptitude test. Then, and in-person interview in Verona with a tour. Nothing terribly difficult, but I've heard that the skills test is the big funnel.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Could you see yourself working here for at least 3 years?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic
Interview
Good experience but a long process, it took 2 tests and about a month in total. The first test was very programming focused and analytical and the second was more logic based.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Epic in Dec 2019
Interview
30 minute phone call, followed by a whole day on-site interview. They will offer to have some of their employees take you to dinner the night before. The day is a long series of various types of interviews and tours. Tedious and exhausting for introverts, but the campus was nice, and free trip to Madison is a plus.
