I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Mar 2022
Interview
Contacted by a recruiter and applied through Epic site. Took a test on Examity (scheduled to last at most 4 hours, I finished in ~1 hour but 2 hours is probably more realistic). You are required to schedule the exam with 24 hours and complete it within 5 days after they email you about it. Set up a short phone call to discuss position and go through some interview questions. Explained the purpose and responsibilities of the job, how training worked, and the different focuses of some TSEs. I was offered the opportunity to complete the longer (3-4 hour) interview (at which time they asked for references and another pseudocoding assessment). I initially scheduled the interview, but decided to rescind my application before doing the interview. Response after initial application was about 1 day. Offer to interview after phone call was about 1-2 days. Scheduled long interview at the earliest date I offered.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic
Interview
All day 4 step process: PPT general intro to the company, 1v2 specific intro to the role, case study, HR review.
Both of the times I’ve interviewed for Epic I’ve felt that every part of their interviewing process is enjoyable except the HR review.
