I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Ericsson (Stockholm, ) in Jan 2012
Interview
There were 4 interview rounds in total. Process took 2 month from first contact to an offer.
First round was focusing on previous work experience and motivation behind application.
Second round was focusing on hard skills - brain teasers, smaller cases similar to management consulting type of cases. Part of the questions in this round were testing my industry knowledge and mobile operator business, as well as understanding financial KPIs.
Third round was a full blown management consulting type of a case with 45 minutes to prepare and 45 minutes presentation of solution. Case was outlining mobile operator strategic issues on emerging market.
Forth round was more of a "face-check" interview with senior management representative who was checking overall fit to Ericsson corporate culture.
All interview rounds were driven and controlled by hiring manager, but on each new round he was accompanied by more senior person. Overall I was exposed to about 8-10 people during 4 rounds.
In general process was very well and professionally organized due to hiring manager's drive and approach. HR got involved only in the end in offer sending and some admin work.
