I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Expedia Group (London, England) in Aug 2019
Interview
Difficult process. Spoke to a recruiter and was refused prior to even really speaking with someone, despite some very strong experience. I ended up working for an entity included within the wider Group.

Question 1
Very few were asked. It seemed they weren't keen on having someone outside of the US managing the project.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Miami, FL)
Interview
Long extensive process, total of 5 interviews.
Proposed offer from expedia, I countered. Didn’t hear back from recruiter for days, then got told they were withdrawing the offer.

Got an email saying that my resume has been accepted for an interview. Turns out that it was for a one-sided HireVue interview where I was required to record my answers. The HireVue experience is extremely bad. It is better to not interview at all instead of going through this.
Got a rejection email a few days later saying that my profile is "too junior" for the position. Why was my resume even shortlisted in the first place then? A prior rejection would have saved my time and effort.
The only good feedback I have about the interview was that the HR executive was pleasant and responsive.
But overall the experience was horrible. The concept of HireVue is extremely ridiculous. If a company is not even bothered to interact with the candidate, how can they expect to attract the best talent? Unless one is desperate, it is best to avoid employers who demand recorded interviews. Absolutely humiliating.
