It took about 2 weeks after applying for the hiring process to begin. I had a phone screen with Expedia recruiter, 2 days later interview with hiring manager and about 10 days to receive notice I was not moving forward
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group in Jun 2021
Interview
I submitted an application online, and the internal recruiter reached out to schedule an initial chat. She was very friendly and gave a lot of good information about what the hiring manager was looking for.
I had an interview with the hiring manager a few days later, and the questions she asked were very generic/textbook questions.
I knew the interview didn't go well for me, but I did follow-up afterward with the initial recruiter with a thank you and further commentary to which I received no response.
Not too much later, I got the standard polite 'you haven't been selected' message.

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group in May 2022
Interview
My interview process went smoothly. Everything was coordinated well up until my final panel interview was over. I shared my timeline with the recruiter and was told that I should hear back from her regarding the hiring decision by a specific date, which exceeded by two weeks. I followed up to share that I had an offer pending but was highly interested in working at Expedia.
She said she'd call me; however, I never heard back from her on the decision. I reached out to the sourcer who connected me to the opportunity at the start to check on the status of the position months later. I was then told that the recruiter had mentioned that I "accepted" another offer when I never disclosed that. Although I didn't get the position, I wish that there was better communication between the recruiter and I, and that I was informed of the decision rather than not hearing back at all after going through multiple rounds of interviews.
I would still love to be considered and apply to future openings at Expedia; however, my previous experience was not ideal.
