I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Kailua Kona, HI) in Aug 2015
Interview
The interview process was less than seamless. It began quickly-- I received a phone call a day or two after I applied, and had a phone interview a day or two after that. From there, I had a sit-down with the sales manager at a local coffee shop, and then a week or two of waiting while they interviewed other candidates. My big problem was that after I was given the position, the company did not honor my start date. I was given a drug test at a local office here in town, and because they sent my "sample" off to some distant lab instead of processing it on island as was expected, I had my start date pushed back a week. The Human Resources Manager did not know why this happened. It seemed disorganized, and I was out a week's pay for a mistake I didn't make.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview didn't feel like an interview, so I have hard time recalling specific questions the kind to which this question refers. The sales manager asked me which activities on the island I would suggest most to my guests, but this felt like a natural progression in a conversation between friends.
I applied through college or university. The process took 12 months. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Bellevue, WA) in Nov 2014
Interview
I had about 10-12 interviews overall but I was a different case. I interviews for several locations and Expedia kept me in the system to find me the right fit. I had a phone screening with the recruiter, a skills interview over Skype with one of the Market Managers. Then interviews with Market managers from each location at different points in time. (Oct 2014, Jan and June 2015) and finally the decision came from my last interview with the Area Manager.

Overall, everyone was super helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. Process in total took a month. Recruiter is really your friend and guide throughout the process.
