I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Seattle, WA) in Jul 2015
Interview
There are three rounds total. Two phones screens and one on-site interview. In the first phone screen, they just ask about your resume and your experiences. If they think that you are a good match, they will schedule a second phone interview. The second phone interview is a technical one. There was no coding involved when I did mine. They asked very basic concepts and programming problems. I think they just want to make sure that you can code before they invite you to do an on-site interview.

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (London, England) in Jan 2015
Interview
At first a 30 mins phone call set up the face to face interview in London (Angel). That face to face lasted about 4 hours: I talked to 4 different people and handled the pressure very well.
I was told I would get the job but at the last minute an internal was preferred: not very professional.

Full software lifecycle, networking questions, QA management, escalations handling.

Interview
The most awkward phone interview. The recruiter calls you for a brief catchup which ends up being a proper interview where he has to write down notes on every single answer. The recruiter is Italian with a very strong accent, I couldn't make sense of what he was saying and I doubt his notes were accurate. Unacceptable, this call had to be at least with the hiring manager

Experience, why this job, what are my strengths and areas of improvement
