The final interview was a very positive experience. I like meeting with two different people: one for behavioral and one for the case study. The case study presentation was a great opportunity to showcase your knowledge of Expedia and if you used the resources they gave you.

Question 1
How would you approach Client Relationships in the Commercial Space?
I applied for the Technical Solution Engineer II role at Expedia Group and was asked to complete a technical assessment, which required significant time and effort. After completing it, I received an email stating that the hiring process was suddenly paused due to "unforeseen circumstances."
While I understand that business needs can change, this lack of foresight and communication is highly unprofessional. Candidates should not be asked to invest their time in assessments if there’s uncertainty about the hiring process.
Expedia Group needs to improve transparency and candidate respect by providing timely updates and avoiding unnecessary steps when hiring decisions are uncertain. Disappointing experience.
