I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Expedia Group (London, England) in Jan 2025
Interview
Strange recruitment process. Received a WhatsApp from an Expedia recruiter who wasn't based in the time zone for the role. Phoned for a quick screening then arranged an interview. The interview was "the only eliminative" phase and I thought it went decently. A week later I had to WhatsApp to ask for feedback and received a poorly worded response that said I hadn't done anything particularly wrong but that I wasn't going to proceed.
I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Dallas-Fort Worth) in Aug 2024
Interview
1) Hirevue - STAR story questions about your previous sales experience, why you're interested in the Account Manager Role, and what makes you a good fit. There will be 6-10 questions (virtual)
2) Recruiter Screen - Confirm Salary (phone)
3) Hiring Manager Interview - Mock Cold Call where you sell anything you want , and speak to Hiring Managers
Quite a long interview process for a junior position. First an HR screening who lists out all the benefits during 30 min, even though you don't even know if you're going to get through to the next round, then a manager interview, a portfolio presentation of 45 min, and then meeting the direction. I never got to the end interview, all the interviews were in teams call which is a bit of the shame. The team was very nice and respectful, overall a positive experience even though somewhat long.
