I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Bellevue, WA)
Interview
Applied online and received a call within a few days. Set up a phone interview with the manager of the department, everything went smoothly. Had a follow up phone interview with senior recruiter and they wanted to set up an on site interview. The company arranged all of the travel and paid for everything to fly me out. On site interview was scheduled for 4 hours on in the morning. You meet with four different managers/analysts for about 45 minutes each. Nailed all of the questions regarding the job at hand. Answered all of the other questions, to what I thought were good answers. Sent thank you messages to all that I interviewed with. Senior recruiter called back within a few days to say that even though I have the skills and knowledge for the job I didn't elaborate on some of my answers. They are pursuing other applicants, no offer.
**Side note: The company may ask if you prefer a specific time to fly out, what I requested was completely opposite of what they booked. Flight got delayed and didn't arrive until the wee-hours of the morning. Had an early morning interview with a few hours of sleep. Make sure you ask for flight times that will enable you to get sleep. Recruiter apologized over and over and over for the flight times, which leads me to believe that they know they screwed up the booking.
