I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at FedEx Office (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2007
Interview
They will ask a bunch of situational questions. I have been trained in interviewing and all you have to do with every answer is use the STAR method. Situation, Task, Action, and Result. Also try to find out from an employee what the possible rates of pay are. There is a high medium and a low for every position. Also there is a different rate of pay for each market. I think DC and San Francisco are the highest at GEO 0. Then LA and other big cities are GEO1. There are 4 GEO codes all togeather so make sure if you get info to check on what GEO code you are in.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Tell me about a time when you were unable to please a customer. What was the situation, how did you handle it and what was the result.
The process took 2 days. I interviewed at FedEx Office in Nov 2007
Interview
Interviewed with Sales Manager I would eventually be hired by. After the first interview I had a second interview with the same sales manager and the Managing Directory. Questions focused on results - "give me an example", "tell me about a time" type questions and general review of company and job expectations are provided, including compensation. Successful completion results in tentative job offer contingent on drug screen and background check.
