Interview lasted about 3 hours and I interviewed with 3 different managers. There were some technical questions, but majority were based on my current experience. Interview wasn't too bad it was just long.

If you prepare well for interview's especially for positions at Fidelity it should go well.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Bengaluru) in Aug 2009
Interview
1) Telephonic interview which lasted 30 min. Included 3 case studies
2) Flown down to Bangalore for a series of 1:1 interviews - which included three 1:1 interviews (not including the HR interview)
3) The interviews constituted of 4 written and verbal case-studies which directly test the skill sets across everything mentioned in the Resume (example - as a consultant how would you help an oil and gas refining company kick start stagnant revenues - in an otherwise growing industry?)
4) Also included 2 market sizing exercises to gain understanding of the candidates problem solving skills (example - do a back-of-the-envelope market sizing of the shoe-lace market in India)
5) Each interviews appeared progressively tougher than the previous one

Case studies are very in-depth and require the candidate to make slides and present them to the interviewer.
