The interview process was very complete, and allowed me to know the company values and culture. So far, Fortinet has provided me the best interview process I have experienced, very happy with it.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Fortinet (Indianapolis, IN) in Nov 2020
Interview
The interview process consisted of 3 separate interviews, each one about a week apart.
1st interview - spoke to the team manager, basically a project manager; most of the questions were about my background, why I wanted to work for Fortinet, what skills I had, etc.
2nd interview - this was with the team lead and another senior engineer, most technically-focused but mostly softball questions; again, talked about my background, but a little more in depth; really more of a "is he a good fit for the team" interview
3rd interview - got on a Webex with a TAC engineer who quizzed me on simple troubleshooting and basic networking topics; was presented a Windows 7 box that did not have working internet and asked to fix it; two issues with that: the connection was EXTREMELY laggy, and I was not told the entire scope of the scenario, apparently you were allowed to login to any other devices to investigate, which was a bit confusing since I was given no credentials to anything else

I applied thru LinkedIn.
I got a call from HR asking me a bunch of basic questions and then she said that I will be forwarded an online interview assessment.
It's been 2 days since that call and no email about the online assessment.
Unfortunately, so far it's been an unprofessional experience but I would still consider it if I still get the email
