Interview
I visited the GE table at a job fair and was emailed for an interview the next day on campus. They were mostly behavioral based questions and I think I had too much in common with the interviewer so my answers got too personal I think. I was also on the younger end of the age range they were looking for.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you experienced conflict with a manager or your peers.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at GE (Greenville, SC) in Aug 2009
Interview
There were 5 interviews about 45 mins each. They generally asked about the same questions, all behavioral.
If you just say you want to work for GE for the rest of your life you are likely to do well.
Just make sure that when you answer a question in one interview you remember your answer, a similar question might come up later and you have to answer them about the same so that when the interviewers compare your responses they know you were telling the truth.

Interview
applied on company website. first got a phone call from HR, not an interview, just ask for scheduling an on-site interview with the HM. (may not be a majority case for out of state candidate, as she provided an alternative which is a phone interview).
the first interview was in meriden, in the HM's office, 45 minute, with the HM and his team leader. some basic question about past projects and education background, course taken, and software skills.
then scheduled 2nd interview with the whole team and one VP in norwalk site. it run whole day, and i have to drive between two locations in ct.
wut i want to say is, the HR is amazingly out of touch, and did almost nothing except scheduling 2 interviews.
2 month after the last interview, all of a sudden i got a call from the HM asking if i'm still available, but he didn't leave a call back number so i contacted the HR asking for it. then the HR said she didn't even know the HM was trying to reach out to me.......omg
the offer now is still in discussion...i won't see any light in front though
