I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner in Oct 2022
Interview
First approached by recruiter talking about a different role, told her what I was hoping to do and the very next day she called me again to tell me about a job opening tat was exactly what I had described to her. She then referred me to the next stage, a more senior recruiter had an hour interview with me. This included a role play and lots of questions, about me and my career so far, using the STAR format. Throughout the interview, they allowed me to ask questions and ask for feedback so I could improve my answers. After this initial interview, I had another interview with a senior talent manager from the US and this included a similar format of role-play and traits questions. Lastly, I was told I would be going into the last stage which was a panel interview, with 4 people, two sales managers and the VP as well as the senior recruiter of my initial interview. Again, traits questions and 15 minutes before the interview, I was sent a document with a persona and they would ask me questions about it at the panel. Throughout the process the recruiter helped me with tips and tricks so I could be prepared at each step!

Interview
Awful experience, recruiter seemed prejudiced. The first interview recruiter didn’t show up. So I reached out to her and we rescheduled, second interview recruiter viewed my LinkedIn photo 2 mins before calling to see what I look like. Once she saw I was POC her attitude shifted. I knew she wasn’t going to move me forward based off the conversation, although I had the experience required.
very thorough and detailed - a process of 5, 1 hour long interviews with different managers. when they discussed pay they did not detail that they were also including expected commission which is a reason why I declined
