Applied to this job trough LinkedIn and received a call after 1 hour.
The initial screening was pretty straight forward and they are focusing on understanding four personal traits:
• Sales Acumen
• Drive
• Executive Presence
• Intellect
Basically they always expecting for you to conduct the interviews as if you were actually selling something. For instance, if they ask you to give an example on how driven you are, you better ask them what the definition of Drive to them is and to give an example, and then fit your profile in to that information you just gather.
After the initial screening you have 1 more phone call with the HR recruiter (pretty the same as the first one, but be prepared to give more detailed examples). The third phase is also a telephonic interview with a Manager, and basically it is meant to understand exactly the same as the previous ones, and therefore you should expect an interview with the same approach.
After those initial steps, you’ll go onsite for two interview rounds:
• The first one with 2 manager, where you’ll pretty much be doing what you’ve done: showing that you have those 4 personal traits
• If you are successful, you’ll pass to the final round where you’ll have to do a role play. Basically here, you are given beforehand a case of a company running in some trouble. Your work is to assume the account executive role, understand the customer problems, define an agenda and set next steps.
