I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor (Chicago, IL) in May 2016
Interview
I applied online, the process took 30 days from application submission to offer. It was a 4 part interview process:
- Phone call with recruiter
- In person interview with 2 sales managers (30 mins each)
- Over the phone 20 min. pitch (materials provided)
- In person interview with director of sales
The entire process was made much easier by the Glassdoor recruiter I worked with. We spoke before each interview and prepped. Multiple times were also always suggested to help fit everyones schedules.
Overall it was a smooth interview process. There are no surprises, prepare your questions, utilize all the material provided, use your past sales experience, and be yourself.

Question 1
Q: How would your current/former employer describe you in 3 words?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor in Apr 2016
Interview
I had a phone screen with a senior recruiter who was amazing through the entire process. I spoke to four people after her through calls and Google Hangouts and everyone was wonderful. They were transparent about the role and I could see they were passionate about their product/mission. Since the role was for their new office in Chicago, they were honest about the challenges from the start. The hiring manager was the only person I didn't have a really strong interview with so I was disappointed that I didn't get a final offer but not completely shocked. I appreciated that they called me in person to tell me that they were going with a different candidate and gave me some feedback as to why that person was selected. It's pretty rare for a tech company to provide feedback and call candidates who aren't getting an offer so I think this speaks volumes about their culture and their commitment to the hiring process.

Question 1
Describe reports and dashboards you've built in Salesforce
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Glassdoor (Boston, MA) in Feb 2016
Interview
It was a thorough process, but very pleasant. There are a couple phone interviews, then you have to do role-play sales presentation, then onsite interviews. In hindsight I thought the sales preso was the best part. It was tough trying to sell a solution you know nothing about yet, but the process really helps you gut-check to see if you can actually see yourself selling the product. Analisa and Kyle were both extremely helpful during the entire process - I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them. I was currently employed while looking for a new role, and they stayed on top of me and helped me through everything. The whole process was very well organized.

Question 1
I think the question that made me think the most was "what's one word you think your best friend would use to describe you?" Other than that it seems to be a lot about past experiences and culture fit. Can they see you working there and they want to make sure you can see yourself working there.
