I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Google (London, England) in Aug 2019
Interview
I was referred through a friend who works there. You can apply for 3 roles; I got through for 1 role. They asked me to answer 2 written questions on email, then a VC with the hiring manager then 2 rounds of in person interviews for 45 mins, then a 15 minute chat with the hiring managers skip level. Overall it took 3 months.
The process was a bit of a shambles, 1 in person interview did not turn up and the director told me I had got the role only later to be told by HR that this wasn’t true
I know 2 people who have had similar experienced at Google, taking w long time and cancelled interviews.
