Google Project Manager interview questions

No interview.. Google contacts me several times if i would like to apply to certain jobs they have, and when replying there is no follow-on procedure.. Especially in Europe Google seems to be hiring young post-graduates, which is not a good sign and shows a terrible lack of cultural sensitivity, let alone the ability to evaluate people skills. From friends in the US i have heard similar stories on Google's recruitment and hiring procecss, or lack thereof, and it is rife with inappropriate self-confidence and sheer arrogance. Many of us have seen enough companies go down because of such mentality, and it has been pervading Google long enough to have become a company norm.. and that will break them up rather sooner than later.

After submitting a resume via the google job site, I was contacted by a recruiter who found a potential match given my experience. After some emailing back and forth, I had a phone interview with a senior level product manager. The phone interview consisted of some background on the position, and some discussion of my background. We went through the design of an arbitrary product, discussion how to get the product into a market and how to grow its business. We talked about other products in the space and feature sets that would need to be supported. From there we discussed Google's business, talking about current threats and ways to handle them. Over all it was a relaxed, pleasant conversation.
