I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Singapur) in Jul 2014
Interview
I was contacted by a non-local recruiting agency asking me to interview in Google Singapore. Thought this was a scam as what I understand from the hiring process in Google is that candidates are contacted by Google recruiter. But, since this is a contact position, thus it is all about the agent to contact you.
I went to interview with a recruiting coordinator lead, and it took me for an hour only. The interviewer was very nice, so friendly and told me about the specific details description about this job. I am having good experience interviewing in Google Singapore.

Question 1
The interviewer asked about - What would you do if you were given a situation whereby you failed? Previous job experiences.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Google (Singapur) in Mar 2014
Interview
I got an interview through employee referral. It took them a couple of months from the time when my CV was passed to the person in charge until they contact me to arrange for interview.
I went for 2 interview rounds with 3 interviewers in Google HQ in Singapore. The security procedure for the Asia Square building and for Google office itself were nothing like I've encountered before. Tips: composure, willingness to ask and graciousness to those who help you would eventually help you find your way to the right place.
All of my interviewers were very friendly, they're happy to answer any questions that you have, and even offered some refreshment. Everyone always have a Mac Air with them on which - it seems like - they're always connected to everyone else.
The role is strictly about scheduling interviews. I asked if there's more to the job scope than scheduling interviews and accommodating any mishaps that might happen, but I was surprised to find out that, no, there isn't. The job deals with such a large volume that this is all you have to do, and you have to be able to do this with such precision without a single mistake.
Google works with a lot of contractor and this role was to start off from there. Since this position was for a contract role, they can't answer any questions about salary range or benefits, which was to be discussed between you and the vendor.

Question 1
- Tell me about a mistake that you've done that also caused inconvenience for other people
- Tell me about the time when you have prepared for something, which you've put a lot of effort into, but nearing the end, something happened and disrupted everything
- Tell me about what went though your mind when you're doing a task that's hard to do but has to be done (probably related to your past stories about difficulties that you've faced), what motivates you to keep on going.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Google (Mountain View, CA)
Interview
I was contacted via employee referral for a Recruiting Coordinator role. I spoke with one person on the phone, then came in for a 2 hr onsite with the manager and a person on the team. They asked pretty standard personality and behavioral based questions. Here is why it stood out as a less than positive experience.
-10 minutes into the interview with the manager she asks my least favorite part of the job. Based on my response, which was not in the least bit a negative answer, she tells me, "I don't think you are going to be a fit for this position." Well, good to know, and this is why I withdrew my candidacy afterword, but it is a rather poor interview tactic to tell someone flat out that they won't like it before even asking other questions. Did she want me to get up and leave right there?
-My interview with the second person went very well but when I asked about the types of side projects and career development opportunities available he explained, "because I am a full time employee, I do side projects about 50% of the time, but as a contractor, you really only just schedule."
-Obviously the position wasn't going to be a fit, so shortly after the interviews, when invited back, I withdrew my candidacy. Best part of it all, I got an email 2 weeks later rejecting me for the role, even after I withdrew. Get it together Google!
Overall, I know Google is a great place to work but I was incredibly dissatisfied with the effort they put into treating their candidates with respect, contract or not.

Question 1
She kept asking about my current company's policies on certain aspects of recruiting coordination and why we don't change them. She actually asked three times why we didn't change a certain policy that I had explained resulted in great candidate feedback. I didn't feel that my current company's policies were very relevant to the Google interview.
