I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at H&M (Montreal, QC)
Interview
When I first applied, there were no stores open in my city, therefore I didn't know the company very well. I applied over the internet and got a phone call from the HR team in the following weeks. They asked me why I would like to work for H&M, what I knew about the company, what was my background and wether I was applying for full-time or part-time.
They later invited me to the first actual interview, which was held in a hotel. A lot of people were being interviewed, as this was the first store opening in the region. I finally met with one of the managers from Toronto that was recruiting for Montreal and he was very nice. He asked me questions about my style, what kind of music I listened to, which were my favorite colours, and the more general questions about the company.
He told me his coworker would be there for the second interview and asked me to come back two days later. On the second interview he was still by himself, his coworker couldn't make it, so he hired me on the spot.

Question 1
I was asked what I would do if I had to redecorate the room in which my interview was taking place.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at H&M in May 2012
Interview
There were 4 interviews all together. The first one being a phone interview, & I was asked the typical job questions any other interviewer would ask like "Do you have experience, what are your skills, where have you worked, what were your responsibilities, do you know anything about H&M, & have you shopped at an H&M before?" The 2nd was pretty the same questions but with more detailed answers & with the department manager, where you get to explain yourself. Also asked me, "What do you have to offer at H&M? Why should we hire you?" by that time I was asked to sign documentation for a background check & was told that I can have a copy of my own if I wanted & that it was going to take around 2-3 weeks. The 3rd was the same thing, but with the store manager so that she can get to know you on a personal basis & because she didn't want me to think she forgot about me because the background check was still processing then she told me to come back for a 4th interview but it ended up being a job offer and we discussed my pay. I was also given a portfolio for new hire orientation & information.
